Important Information for Parents/Guardians Regarding Edline Usage
Parent Activation codes were initially distributed the first day of school and put in the students' first day packet.
Dear Parents,
Parents need an activation code from Coleman to create an account in Edline to be able view your child's progress reports (student reports), assignments, calendars and teacher class pages.
Students new to Coleman will receive their activation codes at school and will activate their account at school.
IMPORTANT:
Students and parents are issued different activation codes because student and parent accounts are to do different things in Edline. Parents and students see the same information but:
- The parent account allows parents to combine accounts, enabling parents to use one login to view all their childrens' Edline accounts.
- Student accounts are allowed to submit assignments to teachers.
Student and parent accounts need to include an email address to enable you reset passwords from home and receive students' grade change notices.
Parents and students may add multiple email addresses (parent email, student email, parent work email) to the student account.
Additional Parent accounts can be issued if parents do not wish to share a Edline parent account.

- May be picked up from the office between 8:15 AM- 4:00 PM.
- You will be required to show a valid ID and be listed on the student's emergency card.
